DBT Services

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) was developed by Dr. Marsha Linehan. DBT is a well researched and comprehensive evidence based treatment approach that combines western psychology with eastern mindfulness designed to help people who have difficulty in regulating their emotions and tolerating distress in their lives. This often times results in a high level of impulsivity, self destructive behavior, chaotic relationships, and inflexibility of thinking. This treatment approach provides the skills necessary to help clients become more aware of their vulnerabilities, unhealthy behaviors, and harmful ways of thinking.
